Rooted in Community: Volunteer Day

On March 28, Jane’s Joyride is partnering with Urban Harvest for a volunteer morning at Alabama Gardens—one of Houston’s longest-standing community gardens in the heart of the Third Ward. Together, we will spend the morning refreshing garden beds and supporting a space that provides nourishment, education, and connection for the surrounding community.

No gardening experience needed—and all tools and gloves will be provided. Just bring comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, water, and a willingness to dig in alongside a wonderful group of volunteers.
