JANE’S JOYRIDE HOME GARDENS
Ms. Jane, I wanted to thank you for coming to our house during COVID and helping us make a garden. You brought so much joy, it made a difference in our house, it kept our family together and busy.
You kept our minds off all the chaos going around and helped us work together as a family. Because of your generosity our garden is blooming and keeps us busy! Thank you again!

SPRINT FOR LIFE
Jane’s Joyride is honored to have supported the 26th annual Sprint for Life 5k held on May 6 benefiting MD Anderson Cancer Center. We appreciate everyone coming together to raise awareness and funds for continued ovarian cancer research.
The Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program is contributing ground breaking research. Thanks to everyone for making it a successful event.
GARDEN PROJECT
Jane’s family recognized the lack of access and resources for healthy food options in low-income areas of Houston. They partnered with Small Steps Nurturing Center to support the families they serve. Jane’s children along with family friends visited Small Steps families' homes to plant container gardens.
These families now have access to fresh vegetables right in their backyards! This opportunity created a sustainable food source, promoted nutrition, educated children on healthy food choices, and invested in the community.
TEXAS MONTHLY
Veiseh and his lab have genetically engineered the cells to produce interleukin-2, a protein that’s naturally occurring within the body and is a key activator of the immune system’s ability to find and kill cancer cells.
